Role Description
Position: Generative AI Course Instructor (Remote Volunteer Position)
Are you passionate about Generative AI and eager to guide the next wave of tech enthusiasts? We are on the hunt for an inspiring instructor to spearhead our online guided courses on Generative AI.
Responsibilities
- Design, create, and deliver compelling online blended learning content centered on Generative AI. Incorporate the use of Generative AI technologies as an integral part of the course creation process.
- Ensure that each module or segment of the course is geared towards enabling students to build a functional application or product by the end of their learning journey.
- Provide students with hands-on tasks, tools, and resources to not just learn but actively apply Generative AI principles in real-world scenarios, culminating in a tangible project or product.
- Collaborate and coordinate with the Community Leads, a dedicated team of active volunteers, for support in community management, social media communication, and other logistical aspects.
- Organize and oversee project presentations or showcases, where students can demonstrate their applications/products to peers and the broader community.
- Award course completion certifications to deserving candidates during public, popular events or celebrations, turning each achievement into a celebrated milestone.
- Nurture and energize a self-organized community of online students using platforms like Slack or Discord, aiming to reach potentially thousands of students per cohort.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or higher in computer science, artificial intelligence, or a closely related field.
- Practical experience and proficiency in applying Generative AI solutions for PoC development, including the use of APIs, prompt engineering, tools like LangChain, and platforms like HuggingFace and OpenAI.
- Proficiency in popular programming languages and tools like Python, TensorFlow, Keras, and PyTorch.
- Stellar communication and presentation skills with a talent for demystifying complex topics for diverse audiences.
- Past teaching experience or a history of designing and disseminating educational content remotely to expansive audiences is a distinct advantage.
